A pre-surgical exam is required to ensure that your pet receives the proper anesthesia protocol. Your pet will be examined and/or a pre-surgical blood screen is performed. The results of these tests and your pets past anesthetic history, age, and preexisting conditions are used to create an individualized anesthesia protocol for your pet.
While under anesthesia your pet will be cared for by a well-trained and experienced veterinary technician who will be monitoring heart rate, respiratory rate, body temperature, oxygen level and gas levels. They have the ability to address any issues if applicable.
